These are the terms you agree to by using Peak Vane. We have tried to keep them short and specific to what this product actually does.
The service
Peak Vane finds keyword opportunities for websites you control, plans and writes articles with AI, and can publish them to your site. Access is currently by invitation, and we may approve or decline a request for any reason.
Your account
Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. You must be at least 16 and able to enter a contract.
Sites you connect
You may only connect sites you own or are authorised to manage, and only name competitors whose pages are publicly accessible. You confirm you have the right to publish content to any endpoint you configure. Do not use Peak Vane to produce content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or designed to impersonate someone.
AI-generated content
This is the part worth reading twice. Articles are produced by large language models. They can be wrong, outdated, or confidently invented, and they can resemble text that already exists. You decide what gets published, and you are responsible for reviewing it before it goes live — for accuracy, for rights, and for anything your industry requires. We do not warrant that generated content is correct, original, or that it will improve your rankings. Search engines change what they reward, and no tool can promise a position.
As between you and us, content generated for your sites is yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to produce, store and publish it on your behalf.
Third-party services
The product relies on services including Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Serper, Cloudflare, Resend, Neon and Vercel. Their availability and their own terms are outside our control, and an outage at one of them can interrupt the service. You must also comply with the terms of any account you connect, such as Google Search Console.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not use it to crawl sites you have no right to crawl.
- Do not resell it as your own product without our written agreement.
- Do not use it to generate spam or bulk low-value pages at someone else’s expense.
Fees
Where a paid plan applies, the price, billing period and what is included are shown before you subscribe. Generating articles consumes AI and search credits, and the cost of each run is recorded in the app so you can see what it spent.
Availability
We do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and while this is an invitation-only preview you should expect things to move. We will give reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces what you get.
Ending it
You can stop using Peak Vane and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. Any fees already paid for the current period are not refunded except where the law says otherwise.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost rankings, lost revenue or indirect losses. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes and we will notify account holders of significant changes. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
